Drawing pencils

Drawing pencils are tools used by artists to create images on paper, composed of a core made from a mixture of graphite and clay encased in wood or other materials. The hardness or softness of the pencil core affects the darkness and precision of the lines: harder pencils (like 2H) produce lighter, finer lines, while softer pencils (like 6B) create darker, richer marks. Different pencils are chosen to achieve various shading effects, textures, and details. They are versatile, available in many grades to suit specific artistic needs, from delicate sketches to bold, expressive drawings.
