Drag Polar

The drag polar is a graph that shows the relationship between an aircraft's lift (how well it can stay in the air) and its drag (air resistance). It helps engineers understand how efficiently an aircraft can fly at different speeds and flight conditions. As lift increases, drag also increases. The shape of the curve helps identify the optimal balance point where the aircraft is most efficient, providing useful information for designing and operating aircraft to minimize fuel use and maximize performance.
