Dr. Gordon Hamilton

Dr. Gordon Hamilton was a renowned glaciologist and climate scientist who studied how glaciers and ice sheets respond to climate change. He conducted research in polar regions, especially Antarctica and Greenland, to understand their dynamics and contribution to sea-level rise. Hamilton was dedicated to advancing our knowledge of Earth's changing ice masses and their impact on global climate. Tragically, he lost his life in 2016 during an Antarctic expedition. His work continues to inform scientific understanding of ice behavior and climate change's effects.
