Douhet Doctrine

The Douhet Doctrine, proposed by Italian general Giulio Douhet in the early 20th century, suggests that air power is the key to winning modern wars. Douhet argued that attacking an enemy's infrastructure and civilian targets from the air would disrupt their will to fight and cripple their military capability. He believed that air superiority should be prioritized, as it allows for swift and decisive strikes.
