Douglas A-24 Banshee

The Douglas A-24 Banshee was an American attack aircraft used during World War II, derived from the Navy's SBD Dauntless fighter-bomber. It featured a sturdy design, capable of carrying bombs and machine guns for attacking ships and ground targets. It was aircraft carrier-capable, meaning it could take off from and land on aircraft carriers. The Banshee played a supporting role in naval battles, helping to suppress enemy defenses and attack targets with precision.
