Double Distillation
Double distillation is a process that refines a liquid, like alcohol, by heating it to create vapor, then cooling that vapor back into liquid form, and repeating this cycle twice. The first distillation separates impurities and concentrates the desired component, while the second distillation further purifies and refines the product, resulting in a higher quality and purity. This technique is often used in producing spirits like whiskey or vodka to achieve a smoother, cleaner taste by removing unwanted flavors and impurities through two successive distillation stages.
