DOSB

DOSB stands for the German Olympic Sports Confederation (Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund). It is Germany’s main organization responsible for promoting and supporting sports nationwide, especially with regard to preparing athletes for the Olympic Games. The DOSB coordinates various sports clubs, national teams, and sports organizations to ensure athletes have resources, training, and opportunities to compete at high levels. It also works to promote sports participation among the general population, advocate for sports development, and represent Germany’s interests in international sports organizations.
