Doriath
Doriath is a fictional hidden kingdom from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, notably in "The Silmarillion." It was a secure, enchanted forest realm ruled by the Elven King Elu Thingol, protected by a magical barrier called the Girdle of Melian. Its boundaries kept out enemies, making Doriath a sanctuary for Elves and other beings. The forest was characterized by its lush beauty and rich history, playing a central role in the stories of the Elves' struggles and alliances during the First Age of Middle-earth.
