Dong Zhongjing was a renowned Chinese physician from the Eastern Han Dynasty (approximately 25-220 AD). He is best known for his compilation of medical texts, particularly the "Treatise on Cold Damage" (Shang Han Lun), which systematically organized herbal treatments and diagnoses for febrile illnesses.
