Donetsk People's Republic

The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is a self-declared, unrecognized entity in eastern Ukraine, primarily controlled by pro-Russian separatists since 2014. It emerged amid conflict over Ukraine's political alignment, seeking independence or closer ties with Russia. Although it has its own administration and military forces, it lacks international recognition and is considered part of Ukraine by the global community.
