domestic arbitration
Domestic arbitration is a private process where parties involved in a disagreement agree to resolve their dispute outside court by appointing a neutral arbitrator or panel. The arbitrator reviews evidence and makes a binding decision, similar to a court judgment, but the process is faster, flexible, and confidential. It's often used for commercial or contractual disputes within the same country, providing an alternative to traditional litigation. The parties choose the rules, location, and arbitrator(s), and the decision—called an award—is final and enforceable by law.
