Domestic Animals

Domestic animals are species that humans have intentionally bred and raised over generations for companionship, work, or other benefits. Common examples include dogs, cats, horses, cattle, sheep, and chickens. These animals have adapted to live closely with humans, often regulated by human care, feeding, and shelter. Unlike wild animals, domestic animals generally rely on humans for their needs and have been selectively bred to exhibit specific traits suited for human purposes, such as companionship, transportation, or food production. They play important roles in our daily lives, economies, and cultural practices.
