Doctrine of Necessity

The Doctrine of Necessity is a legal principle allowing certain actions that might normally be unlawful or unauthorized if they are performed to prevent a greater harm or crisis. It provides a temporary justification for otherwise illegal acts when essential for the public good or to maintain stability. Essentially, when faced with an urgent situation where no lawful option exists, authorities or individuals may act out of necessity, and their actions can be legally accepted because they aim to avoid worse consequences.
