DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)

A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is a fully licensed physician qualified to diagnose, treat, and prevent health conditions. Similar to MDs, DOs complete medical school, residency, and board certification. They receive additional training in the musculoskeletal system—the body's interconnected system of muscles, bones, and tissues—and incorporate this knowledge into patient care.
