DNS cache

A DNS cache is a storage feature used by your computer or internet device to temporarily save the website addresses (URLs) you've visited. When you type a website, your device looks up its numerical IP address through DNS (Domain Name System). To speed up future visits, the device stores these addresses locally in the cache. This way, subsequent requests for the same website can be resolved more quickly without consulting external servers. The cache is cleared after a certain period or when it gets full, ensuring your device stays updated with current website addresses.
