DLBCL

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that originates from B-cells—a key component of the immune system. In DLBCL, these immune cells grow rapidly and uncontrollably, forming a noticeable mass or swelling, often in the lymph nodes but also in other organs. It can develop quickly and may cause symptoms like swollen lymph nodes, fever, weight loss, or night sweats. Despite its aggressive nature, DLBCL often responds well to treatment like chemotherapy, and early diagnosis improves the chances of successful therapy.
