DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email security system that helps verify if an email genuinely comes from the claimed sender. It works by having the sender’s email server add a special digital signature to outgoing messages, created with a private key. When the email reaches the recipient, their server checks this signature using a public key published by the sender’s domain. If the signature matches, it confirms the email wasn't tampered with and is authentic. This process helps prevent spam, phishing, and impersonation by ensuring the email’s source is legitimate.
