Djemal Pasha (also Jemal Pasha)
Djemal Pasha was an Ottoman military leader and politician during World War I, serving as one of the key figures in the Ottoman Empire's wartime government. He held the position of Minister of Marine and later was involved in the wartime administration, notably overseeing military campaigns in Palestine and the Arab regions. Djemal Pasha is also known for his role in the Armenian Genocide, where he participated in policies leading to the forced deportation and mass killing of Armenians. After the war, he was captured by the Allies but was later executed by the Turkish government in 1922 for his wartime actions.
