Diwan-e-Khas

Diwan-e-Khas, meaning "Hall of Special Sessions," was a private chamber in Mughal palaces used for important meetings and discussions with trusted officials or guests. Located within grand Mughal complexes like the Red Fort or Fatehpur Sikri, it served as a space for the emperor to converse, strategize, and make decisions away from the public eye. Known for its intricate architecture and often adorned with artistic decorations, the Diwan-e-Khas symbolized authority and privacy, underscoring its role as a venue for significant political and administrative exchanges.
