Divisores

Divisores, or divisors, are numbers that evenly divide another number without leaving a remainder. For example, the divisors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12, because each divides 12 exactly. Divisors are fundamental in number theory because they help us understand the structure of numbers, such as finding factors, identifying prime numbers (which have only two divisors: 1 and themselves), and simplifying fractions. Essentially, divisors reveal the building blocks of numbers and their relationships within multiplication and division.
