Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are efforts to create fair and respectful environments by recognizing and valuing differences among people—including race, gender, background, and perspectives. Diversity involves having a mix of individuals; equity ensures fair treatment and opportunities for all, especially those who face barriers; and inclusion means actively involving everyone so they feel respected and able to contribute.
