Dissemination and Implementation Science

Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Science studies how proven ideas, practices, or treatments in healthcare or other fields are effectively shared and put into routine use. Dissemination involves spreading knowledge widely, while implementation focuses on integrating these practices into real-world settings successfully. The goal is to ensure that effective interventions reach and are used by the people who need them, improving outcomes. D&I Science helps identify barriers, develop strategies, and evaluate methods to make sure new evidence-based approaches are adopted and sustained in everyday practice.
