Disney Toons Studios

Disney Toons Studios was a specialized animation division within The Walt Disney Company, focused on creating feature-length and short animated films, primarily direct-to-video releases. Established in 1988 and based in Australia and other locations over the years, it produced popular titles such as "The Little Mermaid II," "Cinderella II," and "Planes." The studio was known for expanding Disney's classic stories through sequels and spin-offs. It was closed in 2018 as Disney shifted focus toward their main animation studios and new content strategies.
