Diploma Programme Core
The Diploma Programme Core is a vital component of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum designed to develop students’ critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and community engagement. It includes three elements: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), which encourages examining how we know what we know; Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), which involves engaging in artistic, physical, and community projects; and the Extended Essay, a self-directed research project fostering independent scholarship. Together, these components promote well-rounded, reflective learners prepared to understand complex issues and contribute thoughtfully to society.
