The Digital Chart of the World (DCW) is a comprehensive digital map database that captures the geographic features and boundaries of the entire Earth. It includes information such as country borders, cities, rivers, roads, and terrain features, all stored in a computer-readable format. Developed by the U.S. Defense Mapping Agency and other organizations, the DCW is used for geographic information systems (GIS), mapping, analysis, and planning purposes.
