Dieterich Buxtehude (c. 1637–1707) was a prominent German composer and organist of the Baroque period. He is best known for his innovative organ music and sacred vocal works, influencing later composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach. Buxtehude's music blends intricate melodies with rich harmonies, showcasing his skill as a musician and his deep faith.
