Dichotomy Paradox
The Dichotomy Paradox suggests that before reaching a destination, you must first cover half the distance, then half of the remaining distance, and so on infinitely. Since there are infinitely many such steps, it seems you can never truly arrive, implying motion is impossible. However, mathematically, these distances form a converging series with a finite sum, meaning the total distance can be completed in a finite time. The paradox highlights questions about infinite divisions and motion, challenging intuition and prompting deeper understanding of limits and infinity in mathematics and philosophy.
