Diaspora Armenians
Diaspora Armenians are members of the Armenian community living outside their ancestral homeland of Armenia. Due to historical events such as invasions, wars, and the Armenian Genocide, many Armenians migrated or were forced to leave Armenia, establishing vibrant communities worldwide, especially in countries like Russia, the United States, France, and Lebanon. These communities work to preserve Armenian culture, language, and heritage while integrating into their host countries. The diaspora plays a significant role in supporting Armenia through cultural, economic, and political efforts, maintaining a strong sense of Armenian identity despite being geographically distant.
