"Dialects of English"
Dialects of English are regional or social variations of the language that differ in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. They develop naturally based on geography, history, and community influences. For example, American English, British English, and Australian English each have unique words and accents. Within these regions, further dialects can exist, such as Southern or Northern accents in the U.S. or Cockney in London. Dialects reflect cultural identity and local history, making the language rich and diverse. Despite differences, speakers of different dialects generally understand each other, as all are part of the larger English language family.
