Dhokra
Dhokra is a traditional Indian metalworking craft that creates intricate sculptures and jewelry using a lost-wax casting technique. Artisans first sculpt a model in wax, coat it with clay, and then heat it to melt and remove the wax, leaving a hollow mold. Molten metal, usually brass or bronze, is poured into this mold to form detailed, durable pieces. This ancient craft, practiced mainly in central India, reflects rich cultural heritage and handcrafted artistry, blending skill, tradition, and artistic expression in each unique piece.
