Dhatu
Dhatu is a Sanskrit term that refers to the foundational building blocks or tissues of the body in traditional Indian medicine, particularly Ayurveda. They are considered the essential structural components that form the body's physical parts, such as muscles, bones, blood, and tissues. There are seven primary Dhatus: Rasa (plasma), Rakta (blood), Mamsa (muscle), Meda (fat), Asthi (bone), Majja (marrow/nervous tissue), and Shukra (reproductive tissue). Maintaining the health and balance of these Dhatus is believed to be crucial for overall wellness and vitality.
