Dexmethylphenidate
Dexmethylphenidate is a prescription medication used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and sometimes narcolepsy. It works by affecting certain chemicals in the brain that help increase attention and decrease impulsiveness and hyperactivity. Dexmethylphenidate is a more targeted form of methylphenidate, which is also found in medications like Ritalin. It is usually taken once or twice daily and should be used under medical supervision to manage symptoms effectively and minimize side effects such as insomnia, loss of appetite, or increased heart rate.
