Deutschland-class
The Deutschland class was a series of four German warships built in the early 20th century, primarily serving as commerce raiders during World War I. Designed for long-range patrols and commerce interdiction, these cruisers had a balanced mix of speed, armament, and endurance, enabling them to disrupt Allied merchant shipping. They featured a combination of cruiser and light battleship characteristics, with multiple guns and a robust hull. The ships played a strategic role in Germany's naval efforts, but their design was eventually surpassed by newer, more specialized vessels.
