Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (DAP)

The Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (DAP) was a short-lived political party in Germany founded in 1919, primarily representing nationalist and anti-communist sentiments. It aimed to promote German pride, unity, and economic stability. The party later evolved into the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), or Nazi Party, in 1920, which became infamous for its totalitarian ideology, racist policies, and role in World War II. The DAP itself was initial a small group with limited influence but holds historical significance as the foundational organization from which the Nazi movement emerged.
