Deuteronomist

The Deuteronomist refers to scholars who believe that a particular approach to writing about Israel’s history and religious laws was developed during the 7th century BCE. This perspective emphasizes themes like loyalty to God, obedience to the law, and the idea that Israel's fate depends on faithfulness to God's commandments. These writings are mainly found in the biblical books of Deuteronomy and parts of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings.
