Detroit Black Community Food Security Network

The Detroit Black Community Food Security Network (DBCFSN) is an organization dedicated to promoting healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food within Detroit’s Black communities. It aims to increase access to fresh produce, support local Black farmers, and build sustainable food systems that empower residents. By creating urban farms, markets, and educational programs, DBCFSN works to address food insecurity and reflects the community’s needs and perspectives, fostering food sovereignty and economic resilience rooted in social justice.
