Desire and Demand

Desire is the strong feeling or wish to own or experience something, driven by personal preference, needs, or emotions. Demand, on the other hand, is the willingness and ability of consumers to purchase a product or service at a certain price. While desire reflects a person's wish, demand requires both the desire and the financial capacity to act on that wish. For example, many people desire luxury cars, but demand only exists if they can afford to buy one. In economics, demand is also influenced by price, availability, and other factors, making it a measurable market concept.
