Descriptive Grammar

Descriptive grammar is the study of how people naturally use language in everyday speech and writing. It observes and describes the patterns, rules, and structures that speakers actually follow, even if they are not always perfectly formal or traditional. Unlike prescriptive grammar, which sets strict rules for "correct" language, descriptive grammar reflects real usage, including slang, regional differences, and evolving language. It helps us understand language as it is used by people in real life, rather than how it "should" be used according to strict standards.
