Depth

Depth refers to the measurement of how far something extends inward from its surface or edge. It helps us understand the size or scale of an object or space from front to back or top to bottom. For example, in a container, depth is how deep it is from the opening to the bottom. In a spiritual or emotional sense, depth can also describe the quality of understanding, meaning, or experience—how profound or rich it is. Overall, depth provides a sense of dimension, volume, or level beyond just the surface or what’s immediately apparent.
