depressive episode
A depressive episode is a period when a person experiences intense feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or emptiness that last for at least two weeks. During this time, daily activities become much harder, and individuals may lose interest in things they once enjoyed, have difficulty concentrating, sleep more or less than usual, and may feel guilty or worthless. It’s a common mental health condition that can affect anyone, but with proper treatment, such as therapy, medication, or support, many recover and manage their symptoms effectively.
