Dental Implant Surgery

Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces missing teeth with artificial ones. First, a dental implant—a small titanium post—is surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as a tooth root. Over time, the bone fuses with the implant, creating a strong foundation. After healing, a crown (the visible part of the tooth) is attached to the implant. This process restores the function and appearance of natural teeth, improves chewing, and supports facial structure. It typically requires local anesthesia and can take several months to complete, depending on individual healing.
