Density Determination

Density determination involves measuring how much mass a substance contains in a given volume. To find it, you first measure the mass using a precise scale and then determine the volume, often by submerging the object in water and noting the displaced water (Archimedes' principle). The density is calculated by dividing the mass by the volume (Density = Mass รท Volume). This process helps identify materials, verify their purity, or check consistency in manufacturing. Accurate density measurements are essential in many scientific, industrial, and quality control applications.
