Denisovan
Denisovans are an extinct human relative closely related to Neanderthals. They lived thousands of years ago and are known mainly from genetic evidence and a few fossil remains found in Denisova Cave in Siberia. Although little physical evidence exists, DNA analysis shows they interbred with ancestors of some modern humans, especially in Asia and Oceania. Their genetic legacy influences traits in current populations, such as high-altitude adaptation in Tibetans. Overall, Denisovans are an important part of human evolution, helping us understand the diversity and interactions of ancient human groups.
