Denikin's Army
Denikin's Army was a major anti-Bolshevik force during the Russian Civil War (1917-1923). Led by General Anton Denikin, it was part of the White movement fighting against the Bolshevik Red Army. Comprising mainly volunteer soldiers, Western-trained officers, and some former imperial troops, Denikin’s forces aimed to restore order and oppose communism. They controlled significant territories in southern Russia for a time but ultimately lacked sufficient resources and international support, leading to their defeat. The army played a key role in the complexities of Russia’s civil conflict, representing efforts to restore previous government or leadership structures.
