Deming’s Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA)

Deming’s Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) is a cycle used for continuous improvement. It starts with planning a change or solution to a problem, then implementing that change (doing). Next, you observe and analyze the results to see if the change made a difference (study). Finally, based on what you've learned, you decide whether to adopt the change, modify it, or try something new (act). This iterative process helps organizations make gradual, data-driven improvements in their processes or products over time.
