Deming Circle (Plan-Do-Check-Act)
The Deming Cycle, or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), is a continuous improvement process. First, "Plan" involves identifying a goal or problem and devising a strategy. Next, "Do" is implementing the plan on a small scale. Then, "Check" involves reviewing the results to see if the plan is successful. Lastly, "Act" means deciding whether to adopt, modify, or abandon the plan based on the review. This cycle encourages ongoing learning and refinement, helping organizations improve processes, products, or services systematically.
