Deluge systems
Deluge systems are a type of fire suppression system designed to quickly cover large areas with water or other extinguishing agents. They consist of a network of pipes connected to open nozzles and a control system that activates when a fire is detected. When triggered, the system releases a vast volume of water simultaneously, rapidly cooling and smothering the fire, making them ideal for high-risk areas like chemical plants or data centers. Unlike other fire systems, deluge systems have open nozzles, allowing instant, widespread discharge to effectively suppress large fires.
