Delta Clipper Experimental Pilot
The Delta Clipper Experimental Pilot, also known as the DC-X, was an innovative experimental rocket designed to test reusable spacecraft technology. Unlike traditional rockets, which are used once and discarded, the DC-X was built to land vertically like a rocket and be reused multiple times, reducing costs. It served as a prototype to demonstrate quick turnaround and lower-cost human access to space. Although it was a small-scale prototype, the DC-X helped advance concepts of reusable launch vehicles, influencing future space transportation development by proving that rockets could be more economical and efficient.
