Delta Clipper
The Delta Clipper, also known as DC-X, was an experimental reusable rocket developed in the 1990s. Its goal was to demonstrate quick turnaround times and cost-effective space launches by landing vertically like an airplane, rather than using traditional ground-based infrastructure. It was designed to reduce the costs of sending payloads to space by reusing major parts of the vehicle multiple times. Although the project was ultimately discontinued, it contributed valuable insights into reusable rocket technology and influenced future spacecraft development efforts.
