Deletions
Deletions refer to the removal of data from a file, database, or computer system. This process permanently erases specific information, making it unavailable for future use. Deletions can happen intentionally, such as deleting a document, or unintentionally, like accidental data loss. When data is deleted, it may still exist in backup copies or parts of storage until overwritten by new information. Proper deletion ensures sensitive information is securely removed to protect privacy, while incomplete deletion can pose security risks.
